Archaeological Museum - Hall of the tombs

It is located 8 kilometers away from Manavgat and in 1961 an ancient agora bath dating from the Roman age was restored and converted into a museum.In the museum most of the exhibits are the ruins discovered by Prof. Dr. Arif Mufid Mansel in excavations in the years 1947-1967. Also one can see inscriptions and weapon embossing from Hellenistic,Roman and Byzantine Periods and sculptures.Those sculptures are the Roman Period copies of Greek originals , temples, portraits,torsos on exhibition in the museum.
